The Supported Independent Living Program (SILP)
The Supported Independent Living Program consists of:
Specific support for young people who are 16-18 years old and in out of home care to live independently, and make a successful transition out of care.
The Supported Independent Living Program (SILP) aims at improving the social, economic, health and developmental outcomes for young people leaving “statutory care” and prevent them moving into homelessness.
Transition to Independent Living Program (TILP)
The TILP provides supported independent living options and outreach support to young people 18-24 years old.
Young people are provided with carse management support and are linked into vocational programs, counseling and other supports as required.
