Application for Membership of NYAS is open to the general public. Members come from a variety of walks of life and have an interest in supporting the work for homeless young people and families who are at risk of escalating into child protection. A Membership fee of $5 per annum applies to all members. There are no legal liabilities attached to membership over and above this membership fee.

As a community-based not-for-profit organisation, NYAS is overseen by an elected Board who offer their expertise in a variety of fields. The Board is drawn from the general membership of NYAS and is governed by a Constitution.
